Meet Our Team

As the founder and CEO of North Oaks Wealth Management, Mark leads the firm in providing comprehensive, custom services to help clients pursue their version of financial success. His approach to client service is simple – he treats all clients like family and is guided by their goals and values. Mark believes in educating clients on every potential financial decision, and he has the ability to communicate complex topics in a straightforward manner.

Mark carries several professional designations that give him the background to help clients navigate a wide range of challenges.

• CFP® – Mark uses his experience as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM professional to create tailored financial plans that incorporate a wide range of financial strategies, including investments, retirement planning, tax planning and estate planning.
• CEPA – As a Certified Exit Planning Advisor, Mark helps business owners execute custom succession planning strategies to effectively transition their companies to the next generation of business owners. He is also a member of the International Community of Business Advisors, which is part of the Exit Planning Institute.

In addition to his professional certifications, Mark has a Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) from The American College of Financial Services, which allows him to provide advanced insights into complex financial strategies. He also holds a Certificate of Taxation and Estate Planning from Mankato State University.

Mark and his wife, Renee, reside in North Oaks. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time at Lake Vermilion and Marco Island with their four children, their children’s spouses and their two grandchildren. Mark loves golf, boating and music. He serves on the White Bear Lake Food Shelf board and stays active by playing drums with the Edison High School Alumni Marching Band. He has been teaching financial education classes at his church for 30 years.
